How do I deactivate whatsapp if my phone is stolen?

Let's get right to it, here's what you need.

1- Internet Access

2- an email

3- you phone number in International format +20....etc

Here's what you need to do.

1- Login into your email from a friend's phone or find a PC

2- Compose a new email with Subject : Deactivation Request to support@whatsapp.com

3- In the email body type "My phone was stolen, need to deactivate my account, my number is +20XXXX

4- if they reply asking you to send the number again, simply repeat step 2 and then in the body type only phone number and Click Send.

5- more importantly you'll need to call your Service provider and deactivate your phone line

That's it, you're done. hopefully you can track the phone down later on, but that's another story.
